NIA IV-A writing, photojournalism workshop to boost staff skills
Pila, Laguna, December 01-The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region IV-A, conducted a workshop entitled "News, Feature Writing and Basic Photojournalism" to strengthen the communication and public relations skills of personnel.
Philippine Information Agency IV-A Information Officer Kier Gideon Paolo M. Gapayao, discussed the basic steps on how to write news properly and also explained basic writing as the lead, the body and the tail of stories.
After the explanation of the basic news writing, Gapayao challenged participants to create short news articles based on the discussion.
He also said that they need to submit the news articles for critiquing later in the afternoon.
All participants were tasked to write success stories as the 2nd day challenge.
