- Supervise and coordinate the gathering of data for feasibility study and detailed engineering field data of proposed irrigation projects;
- Undertake the final review and evaluation of feasibility study reports;
- Facilitate the collection and inventory of field engineering data on water resources development and system improvement projects as references to future proposals for irrigation projects;
- Supervise and coordinate all activities related to all investigations on water rights applications and controversies pertaining thereto;
- Review water rights investigation reports; recommend approval/disapproval of water rights application;
- Supervise the design and drafting of plans of irrigation facilities and other related technical drawings;
- Coordinate with other government agencies, local officials and private institutions with regards to regional integrated agricultural development;
- Perform other related functions.
