NIA IV-A, represented by Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Erwin Lucela, attends the Palay-Aralan: Makabagong Pagsasaka sa Himpapawid Graduation Ceremony held at Laguna Provincial Capitol Extension Office, Calamba City, Laguna.
The activity is the culmination of School-on-the-Air on Smart Rice Agriculture (SOA-SRA) of the Agricultural Training Institute Region IV-A. The 2-month long program served as a strategic and vital tool, aired through various radio stations, to equip farmers and Irrigators’ Associations (IAs) about modern and innovative practices on rice farming.
Lucela.
Present during the activity were key officials of Department of Agriculture, NIA, Provincial Government of Laguna, DA-ATI, PhilRice, NIA, farmers, radio teachers, state universities, and agriculture students.
