July 10, 2025 — The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) kicks off the second batch of its Nationwide Performance Assessment of Irrigation Management Offices (IMOs) at Caliraya, Laguna.
Running from July 10 to 11, the assessment covers IMOs from UPRIIS, Region III, IV-B, V, and IV-A, with each manager presenting office accomplishments in areas such as project implementation, Double Dry Cropping Scheme, FSSP, FGIS utilization, and financial and administrative compliance.
Opening messages were delivered by Engr. Roberto J. Dela Cruz, Engr. Eusebio S. Villamanto, and Engr. Josephine B. Salazar, OIC-Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations.
As the agency drives toward more transparent and performance-based governance, this assessment reinforces NIA’s commitment to efficiency, innovation, and sustainable irrigation service for Filipino farmers.
