NIA Region IV-A Boosts Field Operations with 20 New Motorcycle Units

To enhance field inspections and monitoring, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region IV-A has recently received twenty brand-new motorcycle units at its compound in Pila, Laguna. Regional Manager Engr. Roberto Dela Cruz underscores the significance of these additions in strengthening monitoring efforts, particularly in remote project areas.

The motorcycles will be equally distributed among the three (3) Irrigation Management Offices (IMOs) in the region, with priority on areas where the use of four-wheeled vehicles is limited.

The addition of these motorcycles implies improved accessibility, streamlined operations, and a modernized transportation approach for the Agency’s field personnel. Said development marks a significant breakthrough for NIA's commitment to delivering better service to farmer-beneficiaries and ensuring the timely completion of irrigation projects in the region.
