The National Irrigation Administration Region IV-A joins all NIA offices nationwide in expressing its gratitude towards the Agency, Filipino farmers, and nation thru the annual Ushering activity with this year’s theme “NIA Para Sa Progresibong Pilipinas”.
Regional Manager Wilson Lopez highlights the importance of innovation and modernization efforts of the Agency in providing efficient and effective irrigation systems to Filipino farmers and Agriculture sector. He emphasizes that the Agency will continue to be of service for the general welfare of farmers.
“Indeed, it is a grateful day para sa ating lahat. Ang dami mga challenges na maaari natin ma-encounter this year pero dapat hindi nawawala yung pagiging grateful sa atin. Huwag natin sasayangin yung mga opportunities na ibinibigay sa atin ng ating Ahensiya para mas maging epektibo tayong public servant”, he added.
The “NIA Para sa Progresibong Pilipinas” is the Agency’s way to promote its relevance in nation-building thru realization of its objectives. The activity is also a form of acknowledging the greater things and opportunities that the Agency has contributed to its workforce, farmers, agriculture, and country’s economy.
Administrative and Finance Division Manager Ms Reynaria Tapia appeals to all the NIA IV-A officials and employees to always put the best effort in providing excellent service to the Agency’s stakeholders. “Nararapat lang na ang isukli natin bilang pasasalamat sa ating Ahensiya ay yung magandang serbisyo natin para sa ating magsasaka”, she added.
Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Erwin Lucela identifies the Agency as a ‘blessing’ not only to its employees but more importantly to agriculture sector. “Lagi natin tandan na yung blessing na natatanggap natin tulad nung mga sweldo, experiences, recognition ay dapat na ibinabalik natin sa ating mga magsasaka sa pamamagitan ng tinatawag na quality service.”, he said.
The NIA Ushering 2023 features Gratitude Wall dubbed as “Agyamanak Iti Padanum” which means “Thank You, Irrigation”. This wall symbolizes unity and gratitude to the Agency as it transforms the lives of the Filipino people.
Said activity is an annual major event of the Agency to kickstart the year with the spirit of camaraderie.
