This training enhances readiness, safety, and security awareness as well as knowledge of field conditions and fundamentals, to what one should and should not do or say in certain situations as a community organizer. In addition, it ensures newly deployed staff to integrate safely and quickly into the field, equip with knowledge and skills, vital in performing the job.
During the opening program, NIA Region IV-A top management headed by Regional Manager Wilson M. Lopez welcomed the participants from Regions 1, UPRIIS, IV-A, IV-B, 7, IDD-CO and IDD-CARP. RM Lopez stresses that Pre-Deployment Training is very important for IDOs to discern their tasks and their involvement before, during and after the project construction.
"Mahalaga na alam ng IDO and kanilang gawain dahil sila ang nakaharap at makikipag-usap sa mga magsasaka katulad ng usapin sa Right-of-Way at iba pang mga suliranin patungkol sa irigasyon.", he added.
This training will run until March 18, 2022. This will give the IDP implementers adept skills in social investigation, mobilization, and ground working before they set out in their respective field work. | L.B. Javan, RO
