NIA IV-A led by Regional Manager Wilson Lopez conducted the Agency’s first flag raising ceremony in the new normal. The ceremony requires fifty (50) percent attendance from both Regional Office and Laguna-Rizal IMO.
NIA IV-A officials shared various announcements in relation to the upcoming activities as well as updates on project implementation, operations and maintenance, and capacity building.
RM Lopez, in his message, highlighted the importance of capacity building on technical personnel to strengthen planning and design of upcoming irrigation projects. He was also encouraged with the support being given by the top management as the Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations Sector Engr. C’zar Sulaik inspected the on-going implementation of Macalelon Small Reservoir Irrigation Project (MSRIP) located in Macalelon, Quezon.
DA Sulaik also visited Quezon IMO office in Lucena City, Quezon and Regional Office located in Pila, Laguna and even initiated conversation with its employees.
RM Lopez emphasized the importance of flag raising ceremony as it serves a venue of information dissemination to keep the organization on track towards the Agency updates and progress.
"Mahalaga talaga na mayroon tayong flag raising ceremony sapagkat isa ito sa mga way natin to connect with majority of employees. It's our way to start the work week right, nagkaroon tayo dito ng dissemination of information para kapag tinatanong tayo ng ating mga stakeholders, kahit papaano ay may masasagot tayo sa kanila", he added.
The conduct of flag raising ceremony is in connection with the Level 1 restriction of Laguna province to which public gatherings are permitted provided that minimum public health standards are observed.
